Determination and Passion could have been the significance of the letters in D & P Marchand Inc., a name associated with the door and window industry since 1979. However, they stand for Daniel and Pierre, who founded of the company in 1979, during the recession.
Determined, they were to have passed this difficult period and learn from its lessons. Daniel and Pierre did not spare any effort to sell doors and windows all while installing them according to the code of practice, and to the satisfaction of their customers. It is there that passion intervenes; they select quality products, effectively advise their customers and they want the work to be well done.
Of course that all is not done only by them. In 1984, their brothers Claude and Denis joined the company. Also, they surrounded themselves by qualified team-members who shared the same vision, from the salesman to the receptionist.
In 1994, Daniel and Pierre withdraw from retail sales to concentrate on the production factory. Claude and Denis then continued to pursue what they had already started. Claude particularly concentrates on the management of installation and delivery, while Denis will concentrate on sales and the administration. Over the years, they both knew to surround themselves with good qualified teams. It is important for them that their teams work with the same preoccupation of the detail and a quality, which enabled them to build a good reputation. It is important that the customers are satisfied, because the majority of their customers is referred by other satisfied customers.
